“His lecture slides were pretty straightforward, and the exams always stuck strictly to what he taught. His grading was also super generous, a lot of my peers managed to get a 4.0 in his course. He loved having open discussions with students, which made the class engaging. The main downside was that he loved padding the exams with extra long questions just to fill up the paper. For instance, he was also our lab instructor, and since we had completed four labs after the midterms, he actually made us write out all four of them in the final exam. By the end, my hand was cramping so badly it felt like I was writing a lengthy Urdu essay! In a nutshell, just be confident around him, start conversations, and make sure he knows you're genuinely trying to learn.”
