“This was another very important course, but unfortunately, I do not feel that it was taught as effectively as it could have been. The lectures often lacked the clarity and structure needed to develop a strong understanding of the subject. Another major concern was the classroom environment. Students did not always feel comfortable asking questions, as attempts to seek clarification were sometimes met with frustration rather than encouragement. This made it difficult to engage openly and discuss concepts that required further explanation. The assessment and marking were also concerning. A striking observation was that almost the entire class received marks clustered around the same range, approximately 70, which raises questions about how individual differences in students’ understanding, performance, and effort were reflected in the final grades. A more transparent and differentiated marking approach would have made the assessment process feel fairer and more meaningful.”
