“He is very strict. He would start scaring students from day 1 so students would focus on passing subject rather than focusing on the actual course. He fails a lot of students in pf. In Sp26 he failed 27 students. He isn't lenient at all. He marks assignment on the basis of quiz. So if you have a bad day in quiz , then you are cooked in assignment. He gives only 1 day in lab reports submission which might be not possible for a struggling student even though only 1 lab happens a week so you can give atleast 3 to 4 days. But he wants the lab report asap in the same day lab happens. He will mark your lab final marks on the basis of your theory final paper instead of the actual lab final project. So your efforts are not completely used and your cgpa could be drastically destroyed. He is fair in marking to the extent that student knows coding but cuts marks in syntax mistakes and would want the code to be 100 percent correct.”
“Such an awesome teacher ,very inspiring, teaching skills are insane Sir is a very good Programming Fundamentals teacher. He explains the basic concepts in a simple and easy way. His teaching style makes programming easier to understand. He is supportive and gives good marks to students who work hard. He also makes sure that students understand the concepts properly. I am really satisfied with his teaching and guidance. If I get another chance, I would definitely choose him again as my teacher.”
“He explained topics nicely and was not strict at all. His quizzes are intermediate. If you study well then you should have no problem. He marks fairly and the marks of assignments is dependent on the quiz. He increases 2 marks of the quiz and marks it in the assignment. Would take Data Structures with him but he doesn't teach it. Overall great experience.”

“He teaches concepts very well, but then he expects the same and usually gives quizzes on what he taught. Marking is really strict; any syntax or logic problem will result in a deduction. His quizzes are very different from the midterms and final paper, so it's better to ask other classes that have the same course about the paper pattern. Once he assumes you are not smart, you are cooked. So try to be best in quizzes. He grades assignments based on your quizzes. And if he takes your viva, you are done literally.”
“Sir explain each topic ery well in class. Assignments and Lab Tasks are just formality but grading is strictly based on Quiz.So if you have a good practice and understood the topic well then Easygoing. But if you take this course lightly then it will be very Difficult to pass”

“The lab sessions were not very effective because concepts were not properly explained, and we were mostly given tasks to complete on our own, which many students simply solved using ChatGPT. As a result, there was very little actual learning. The exam marking was also extremely strict; even when most of the code was correct, a small logical mistake could result in failing the question. Many students were failed, so I believe the labs should focus more on proper teaching and guidance, while the assessment should give reasonable credit for partially correct work.”

“The teaching method could have been much more effective.The lectures were just average. The marking was extremely strict and the quizzes were often unnecessarily difficult which was especially tough for freshers learning programming for the first time. There were also very few opportunities for proper improvement. Another major issue was that the final exam was heavily influenced by the initial quizzes and assignments. Students who struggled at the beginning had very little opportunity to recover later regardless of how much they improved. There was no leniency although other program's students didn't go through the same situation. Overall the course felt unnecessarily difficult and the strict marking was clearly unfair especially when compared to other programs where students were given a more reasonable assessment approach.”
“The marking was totally unfair even you have written a code of 4 pages if you're logic is incorrect you can get a zero there would be no grace marking .Secondly our lab exams were also conducted on paper although it was mentioned in the lab manual that lab exams should be conducted on computers.Some students might get full marks in quizes and on the other hand some might get zero even if there are some minor mistakes in their code.Marks of assignments were given on the basis of quizes .”

“He is good at teaching. His marking simply shows you where you actually stand in programming because he doesn’t give extra marks just to boost your grade. His marking method would be fair if every teacher followed the same standard. Then everyone would be competing on the same level. But if only he marks strictly while other teachers give free marks, then students in his class are disadvantaged in GPA and competition, even though his assessment is fair.”
